Andrew C. Hopkinson/His Story
Growing up in North White Plains then the sound shore community of Mamaroneck NY. The son of a Policeman and Irish Catholic mother, the middle child of seven Andrew was always looking for adventure. As a young boy he would help his father who would perform carpentry and painting services as a second job to supplement his low paying police salary and fix up homes of the wealthy who lived in the Sound Shore communities. Andrew began helping when he was 11 or 12 and would do the dirty jobs, he would scrape the metal railings of rust and clean the job sites at the end of the day hoping one day to be able to bang nails or swing a paint brush. Ultimately, he ended up following in his fathers’ footsteps after traveling around the world and he too became a member of the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department and upon his father’s retirement he took over his father’s property maintenance and home improvement business. This began a rewarding 20+ year career in Law Enforcement and over 40 years of Luxury Real Estate Management and Property Maintenance working in fine homes and estates in Greenwich, Ridgefield, New Canaan, Kent, Warren, and Washington Ct.

Andrew maintains and manages some of the finest homes in America. He is a licensed Connecticut Home Improvement contractor (HIC) and received his Facility Security Officer certification from The United States Merchant Marine Academy. He holds certifications from the BPI the Building Performance Institute, UMDNJ Rutgers, the NADCA the National Association of Duct Cleaners, he is an indoor air quality expert and a certified ASCS Air Systems Cleaning Specialist and Mold Remediation specialist and is a member of the IAQA Indoor Air Quality Association and the Insulation Contractors of America. He is an Authorized Aeroseal Dealer and a Generac Generator Dealer. He also is an Airthings indoor air quality monitor authorized dealer. Andrew maintains some of the finest homes in America working for high profile individuals from Americas leading financial institutions as well as Hollywood and the Music Industry in Fairfield, Westchester, and Litchfield counties. Andrew has been maintaining and managing fine homes and estates in some of Americas most affluent communities such as Greenwich Ct., Westport Ct., Bedford NY, Purchase NY, Kent. Ct., Litchfield Ct. and now in Palm Beach Florida. With over 40 years repairing and maintaining fine homes and estates, Andrew’s clients rely heavily on his years of experience and his knowledge, skills, and ability when it comes to maintaining a smooth running and secure property. He has cultivated relationships with the areas top Luxury Real Estate agents prepping Luxury homes for sale and has over 200 vetted and insured sub contractors who help him maintain and manage his portfolio. Law Enforcement & Security
Andrew worked in Law Enforcement as a New York State Bay Constable and attained the rank of Sergeant, Deputy Director of Marine Operations. He supervised all staff and all Marine Unit Assets. Andrew became an FBI Certified Firearms Instructor, a Police Defensive Tactics Instructor, and a Nationally recognized Water Survival Instructor. As a Nationally recognized training instructor, Andrew trained hundreds of Law Enforcement and Military units nationally. As the Village of Mamaroneck Polices Departments Dive team commander and the director of Training for Sound Shores Largest Marine Unit he designed and implemented all training programs in Firearms, Defensive Tactics & Tactical Waterborne Operations. Andrew had extensive contact with the public in very critical situations, was relied on numerous times to make life and death decisions. Andrew helped design a “Waterborne EVAC Plan” for Health and Human Services Secretary (Tommy Thompson) for 2004 Republican National Convention NYC. Andrew trained all of the New York City Transit Authority’s Security Guards and was a Liaison to the US Secret Service for UN General Assembly visits with the POTUS in New York City. He was also a liaison to the Security Detail for Mayor Bloomberg on multiple visits to Governors Island in New York City. Andrew has designed “Waterborne EVAC Plans” from NYC for High-Net-worth Individuals from the Financial, Motion Picture and Recording Industry. He has designed and implemented executive protection details for “Red Carpet Events” and other high-profile functions. Andrew was a team Leader for Emergency Evacuation Operations after “Hurricane Katrina” with a government sub-contractor (Blackwater USA). Andrew was an American Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer, Police-Fire-EMS. Andrew was the director of Security for several high-net-worth individuals with multiple properties nationally. He is a New York State Security Guard Instructor, where he trained all the security guard forces from major NYC companies to include the Statue of Liberty, Empire State building and 30 Rockefeller Plaza. This gives him a unique perspective when it comes to luxury homes and luxury real estate management.
